Unhappy woman

Anxiety and depression are complex conditions that affect your overall mental and physical well-being. Our therapeutic work together, will help you to get back to leading a full, rich, and satisfying life!

Individual Psychotherapy: Most people who come for therapy are suffering from anxiety and depression. Symptoms of anxiety and depression are also felt by people who are experiencing difficult life transitions or self-defeating behaviors. Both anxiety and depression are normal aspects of being human. We need the tension and energy, the adrenaline rush associated with anxiety to have a zest for living, to succeed in life, to do our personal best. Anxiety also warns us of danger and can help us make life changing decisions. Depression is a defense mechanism that tells us to step back from life, to take a break to deal with situations and events that overwhelm and sadden us. It is when these conditions become severe, chronic and debilitating, that they become a major barrier to living a healthy life—it is at that point psychological treatment can be beneficial.

Unhappy!Couples/Marriage Counseling: If your relationship is unsatisfying, based on conflict, or is in crisis, then couples work can help to improve and even save it. Are you and your partner experiencing any of the following problems: communication difficulties, constant arguing, angry outbursts, conflicting parenting styles, intrusive in-laws, or unfulfilled emotional/sexual needs?

Our work together can help you to improve communication, learn “fair fighting,” deepen emotional connectedness, renew trust and commitment, and restore romance and passion.
